SELECTION PROCESS

The Chemistry Postgraduate Programme at UFMG holds two selection processes each year for its PhD and Master's programmes: one for entry in the first semester and another for entry in the second semester. Admission is based on the applicant's score from the Unified Chemistry Exam (EUQ) conducted by the Brazilian Chemical Society (https://euq.sbq.org.br). To apply, candidates must take the EUQ exam, which is valid for three years from the exam date.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Candidates interested in receiving a Master's or PhD scholarship must indicate this interest at the time of registration for the selection process. The Programme's scholarships will be awarded to the top-ranked candidates according to a ranking made by the scholarship committee, based on the EUQ results for the Master's and, for the PhD, on the EUQ results and the analysis of the candidates' CVs.
